Using the TAG Heuer PTB605

On-Line Timing with Split Second Software

The 605 is a simple yet extremely accurate time source for managing timing with a computer.
The Windows software has PTB specific options to clear the memory and allow you to set the time of the PTB for Synchronization purposes. There are other options that can be set but the defaults should be fine for most situations.

Press the Red buttons to enable/disable blocking of the inputs!

For a Single Course race:

Input 1 is Start
Input 2 is Finish

For a Dual:

Input 1 is Left Start
Input 2 is Left Finish
Input 3 is Right Start
Input 4 is Right Finish

If you go into the "Timing | Setup and Test" screen on the Windows software or the "Test Inputs" on the DOS you should see times coming in.

Under the PTB (in the case) there should be 2 diskettes which include the PTB Controller software by TAG Heuer. This program can be used to set any of the parameters of the PTB. If these are missing for any reason following is a zipped copy of each disk.
